About Maestro Red Online

Maestro Red Online (also known as Maestro Red Computer Education) is a primary examination and IT training hub located in Vadakara, a major town in the Kozhikode district of Kerala. For candidates, this center is strategically placed in the Apollo Gold Building on the NH Bypass. Unlike centers located in the narrow, congested lanes of Kozhikode city, Vadakara offers a more streamlined commute via the National Highway. The facility is well-known for hosting a variety of competitive and bank exams. It is situated roughly 1 km away from the main town center, providing a quieter, focused environment for test-takers while remaining within easy reach of all major transport links.

How To Reach Maestro Red Online

Comprehensive location and transport guide

Nearest Airport

  • Calicut International Airport (CCJ): The airport is approximately 65–70 km from Vadakara. The drive typically takes 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the traffic on the NH 66.
  • How to reach: Upon landing, you can hire a private taxi directly to Vadakara for approximately ₹2,500–₹3,500. For a more economical route, take an airport taxi to the Feroke Railway Station or Kozhikode Railway Station and catch a local train to Vadakara. Alternatively, you can take a KSRTC bus from the airport to the Kozhikode Main Bus Stand and switch to a Vadakara-bound express bus.

Railway Station

  • Major Station: Vadakara Railway Station (BDJ) is the closest major railway station, located approximately 2 km away. Travel Time: It takes about 10 minutes by road.
  • How to reach: Vadakara is a major stop on the Mangalore-Kozhikode rail line, and almost all express trains stop here. Upon exiting the station, you will find a 24/7 auto-rickshaw stand. A private auto to the Apollo Gold Building (Maestro Red) will cost roughly ₹60–₹100.

Metro Station

Metro Connectivity is Not Available in This Area

Bus Connectivity

  • Main Bus Stand: Vadakara New Bus Stand is the primary hub, located about 1.5 km from the center.
  • Nearest Bus Stand: Nut Street Stop or Apollo Gold Junction is the closest local drop-point, just a 2 to 5-minute walk from the building.
  • Bus Routes: Connectivity is excellent. Any bus traveling on the Kozhikode-Kannur Highway will pass through Vadakara. From the Vadakara New Bus Stand, you can take a local "City Bus" or a short auto-rickshaw ride. Most buses heading towards Nut Street or Orkkatteri will drop you very close to the center.

Local Taxi / Auto

  • App-based services: While app-based services like Uber and Ola have a strong presence in Kozhikode city, their availability in Vadakara can be limited. Traditional transport remains the most reliable.

This was honestly the worst exam centre I have ever visited. The building itself looked extremely old, poorly maintained, and absolutely unclean. The floors, walls, and even the exam halls looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It was hot inside because there were very few fans, and the ones that were there barely worked.

The computer systems were dusty and felt like no one cared to maintain them. To make things even worse, there was construction work going on right next to the exam hall, and the noise was hellishly disturbing throughout the exam. It was impossible to concentrate.

Overall, it was a completely unpleasant and stressful environment. Definitely the worst examination experience I’ve had — this centre seriously need to be closed down.
Apart from my poor preparation I would like to thank this place for ruining my exam.

Maestro Red Online serves as a conveniently reachable examination center on Highway 66, directly across from the Smart Superstore and Chicking. It's easily accessible from the new bus stand via auto or by bus. The Google Maps location is precise. The center has an older appearance with limited space for computers. One notable drawback is the insufficient storage space for candidates' belongings like bags and footwear. Parking is also quite limited. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the computers are in good working order. There are facilities for drinking and toilets available on-site

I am a member belonging to differently abled community having 70% disaility. Recently i had an exam at the centre and it is not disability friendly. I have to climb upstairs inorder to write the exam ( second floor ). The centre had no lift or ramp facilities and the staircase was too narrow. My father had to lift me up and carry me upstairs along with the wheelchair. Luckily two staffs came to help but still carrying me with my wheelchair along the narrow staircase was really troublesome.
Afterwards i had to wait for seat allocation and the allocated seat was too congested and i could not sit properly. The computers available at the centres were not properly functioning. I had given a second computer because my first one shuted down automatically and the second one was managable.
Due to all these problems my exam was delayed one hour after.
I lost all my calm and composure as I was pressurised.

I visited there for my bank exams, The place is a walkable distance from vadakara new bustand and it is very easy to locate. There is no shelter for bike parking. The lab 1 was so congested. And you can't rest your arm on the table and alsohe keyboard will cover the writing area.
In lab 2 it is okey, All computers are LCD.And rooms habe AC. I found staff are very friendly.

Warning: Google Maps photos misrepresent the current state of Apollo Building (now rebranded as Maestro Red). Significant changes have occurred since those images were uploaded.

Upon arrival, you'll notice:

- No clear signage indicating the building's name
- Limited parking (only 10-15 bikes and 1-2 cars)
- Ongoing national highway widening project causes excessive dust and noise, creating an unpleasant environment for parents accompanying candidates
- No waiting shed or amenities for visitors

Inside the exam hall:

- Insecure baggage storage: items left in the clock area outside the hall are vulnerable to theft
- Dusty floor requires barefoot walking
- Technical issues with computers (e.g., failure to switch on)
- Insufficient lighting makes exam conditions challenging

The sole advantage is the center's limited capacity, resulting in:

- Shorter waiting times
- Less congestion

Overall, despite some benefits, the exam center falls short in terms of infrastructure, security, and amenities.
