From Jalukbari, you can find direct shared ""Trekking"" vehicles or buses that go towards the Odalbakra/Lal Ganesh route via the bypass.

Railway Station

  • Guwahati Railway Station: The main station is about 7 to 8 km away.
  • Travel Time: 25–30 minutes.
  • How to reach: Exit from the Paltan Bazaar side of the station. You can take a direct auto-rickshaw or book a bike taxi.

  • Local Connectivity: From the ISBT, you can take a shared auto or a ""Trekking"" cruiser heading towards Lal Ganesh. From the Lal Ganesh stop, e-rickshaws are available in abundance to drop you right at the center gate for a very small fee.

Staff is rude towards students . Hard to navigate through city. Very congested area . Idk what went through SSC headquarter to put this kind of location for this kind of serious examination. 2 star because the place was clean and quiet.

I was expecting a rough experience based on older reviews, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. There is no parking, which is a slight inconvenience, but everything else was well managed. The staff, from security to exam coordinators, were polite and professional. The computers worked without any issues, and the process was smooth from start to finish. I also had no trouble finding the place. Google Maps took me straight there, and even candidates who were not from Guwahati found it easily. Overall, a much better experience than I expected.

Location is worst. No proper road connectivity.Center is Very old assam type house. No parking facility.No locker system. Very congested Area. No toilet system for waiting people. People are coming here all over assam.. Not only Guwahati based..

One issue is there's no parking infront of the venue but one can park their 2 wheelers near the main road. Staffs are nice and polite, proper place to keep bags.
